The Students in Nutrition Movement was launched at the 57th Annual Conference in 2016.   It was created to connect students with nutrition professionals and other students across the country.

Scholarships
Through the generosity of donors, the American College of Nutrition is able to offer several scholarships to students who are planning to attend the ACN annual conference.  The following scholarships are open at all current ACN student members.

Oral Research Brief Presentation: $1,000
All student research submissions should address an aspect of nutrition science and be of interest to professionals in the field, with special attention to our conference theme

 

Poster Presentation: $1,000
All student research submissions should address an aspect of nutrition science and be of interest to professionals in the field, with special attention to our conference theme

 

Clinical Case Study: $500
Students applying for this scholarship will demonstrate the clinical application of nutrition by submitting a case study on a client

 

Community Outreach and Education: $500
Students will demonstrate initiative, leadership and organizational skills by hosting a community outreach or educational event on the topic of nutrition.

 

Theme Based Essay: $500
Applicants are required to submit a 3-5 page essay on the conference topic.   

 

First time conference attendees: $200
This scholarships is open to all students who are members of the ACN but have not attended an American College of Nutrition conference in previous years
