Journal of the American College of Nutrition Announces 2017 Editorial Changes
December 21, 2016--William J. Kraemer, PhD, CSCS*D, FNSCA, FACSM, FISSN, FACN will take the lead as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American College of Nutrition (JACN), beginning in 2017. Taylor C. Wallace, PhD, CFS, FACN becomes Deputy Editor-in-Chief. These changes follow the successful editorial leadership of John J. Cunningham, PhD, MACN. Published eight times per year, the Journal of the American College of Nutrition provides original and innovative research in nutrition with useful application for researchers, physicians, and other health care professionals. The JACN holds an Impact Factor of 2.245 (© 2016 Thomson Reuters, 2015 Journal Citation Reports®) and is the official publication of the American College of Nutrition.
Dr. Kraemer states, “I look forward to becoming more deeply engaged with the JACN while ensuring that this top-tier journal remains at the vanguard of 21st century publishing.”

George Mason University, College of Health & Human Services, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies
Dr. Wallace is the Principal Consultant at the Think Healthy Group and an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at George Mason University. He operates the popular blog Dr. Taylor Wallace-Food & Nutrition Blog and has served in senior staff positions at The National Osteoporosis Foundation, National Bone Health Alliance, and Council for Responsible Nutrition.
2006-2016 EDITOR-IN-CHIEF: John J. Cunningham, PhD, MACN
Dr. Cunningham served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of the American College of Nutrition for more than a decade and is a Fellow of the College. In 2007, Dr. Cunningham was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to serve on the Massachusetts Public Health Council.
